INTRODUCTION
The
SEM523P
is
a
dual
channel
DIN
rail
temperature
transmitter
which
accepts
common
RTD
sensors
and
converts
them
into
a
4
to
20
mA
linear
output.
Since
Zero
and
Span
are
set
to
conform
to
a
particular
sensor
type,
the
sensor
temperature
co-efficient
(0.00385,
0.00392
etc.)
has
little
to
no
effect
on
accuracy.
The
simple
push
of
a
button
ranges
and
calibrates
the
SEM523P
transmitter.
There
is
no
need
for
jumpers,
potentiometer
adjustments
or
a
computer.
Ease
of
re-ranging
assures
you
will
have
the
range
you
need
in
stock.
High
accuracy,
stability,
and
flexibility
at
a
very
attractive
price
make
the
SEM523P
the
transmitter
of
choice
for
many
applications.
The
SEM523P
provides
a
level
of
performance
superior
to
analog
units
at
comparable
price.
CALIBRATION
PROCEDURE:
- Connect
an
RTD
simulator/calibrator
to
the
input
and
between
8
&
30
volts
DC
to
the
output
of
the
SEM203P.
- Set
the
simulator
to
the
desired
temperature
at
4
mA.
Press
and
HOLD
the
calibration
button
until
the
LED
starts
to
blink.
- Set
the
simulator
to
the
desired
temperature
at
20
mA.
Press
the
calibration
button
and
release.
The
LED
continues
blinking
and
then
shuts
off
confirming
that
the
unit
is
calibrated.
It's
that
simple
and
that
fast.

INTRODUCTION
The
DM3430
is
a
true
RMS
current
and
voltage
panel
meter
suitable
for
measuring
AC
or
DC
signals.
It
has
four
digit,
high
intensity
LED
display
that
can
be
set
to
show
a
fixed
number
of
decimal
places
with
"auto-rounding"
to
always
show
the
maximum
resolution.
It
is
highly
accurate
and
designed
to
measure
AC
or
DC
voltages
up
to
550
Volts
or
currents
up
to
6
Amps.
Readings
can
be
displayed
as
current
or
voltage
or,
alternatively,
the
reading
can
be
easily
scaled
from
the
front
panel
to
take
into
account
a
multiplier
from
a
transformed
input
or
to
display
directly
in
engineering
values.
The
3.5KV
isolation
gives
added
protection
when
the
instrument
is
used
to
measure
high
voltages.
This
is
particularly
important
when
measuring
current,
in
that
the
instrument
can
be
mounted
anywhere
in
the
measuring
circuit
and
remains
unaffected
by
any
standing
voltage.
The
DM3430
has
a
number
of
special
software
features
including
Peak
and
Valley
memory
(Storing
Maximum
and
Minimum
readings)
and
an
Alarm

that
disables
the
alarm
function
for
a
programmable
period
after

It
is
available
with
a
choice
of
two
power
supplies,
S1

90-253
VAC,
or
S2
for
20-35

Output
functions
including
dual
relays,
4-20

retransmission
or
Modbus

serial
communications.
Options
are
all
available
and
easily

INTRODUCTION
The
SEM203TC
is
the
latest

a
series
of
temperature
transmitters
from
SandeliusInstruments
that
do
not
require
a
PC,
trim
pots,
switches
or
jumpers
in
order
to
calibrate.
Instead,
the
SEM203TC
uses
a
simple
push
button
on
the
unit
to
both
select
the
thermocouple
type
and
range
the
transmitter.
The
SEM203TC
incorporates
the
latest
digital
technology
assuring
drift
free
linearization,
not
available
with
analog
designs.
Galvanic
isolation
is
standard.
The
SEM203TC
is
available
in
three
versions,
each
accepting
a
choice
of
three
different
thermocouple
types.
An
on
board
LED
indicates
the
successful
completion
of
ranging,
TC
selection
and
provides
indication
of
sensor
health.
